Easy Toffee

Last year the Relief Society presidency in my ward brought a bag of this over before I moved to Utah. I ate it all in one day. It is a perfect Christmas giveaway treat.

Line jelly pan with aluminum foil and oil or spray
Spread pan with saltine crackers with the salted side up
Boil one cup sugar and one cup butter for three minutes
Pour over crackers
Bake at 400 for 5 minutes
Remove from oven and sprinkle with 2 cups semi sweet choc. chips
Allow chips to melt for a few minutes, then spread lightly over the entire pan
Refrigerate to cool
Break into irregular shapes for a toffee appearance

LOVE this stuff! We've made it twice now this season. It's so EASY to make that it's perfect to give out to people. Thanks! My mom is passing it out to all her sisters and more!
